Jon Gjedebo (1945), Chairman.

Mr. Gjedebo is the founder of Hitec Industries and HitecVision's predecessor, Hitec. He holds a ship’s engineer certificate and business qualifications. Jon Gjedebo has been involved in entrepreneurial ventures since 1973 when he formed Hitec. In 1985 he became its CEO and main shareholder. He built the company from humble beginnings: from an IPO in 1994 to a listed multinational oil service technology provider, before it reverted to private ownership in 2000. Mr. Gjedebo has received the distinction, “Norwegian Entrepreneur of the Year”, and was also Norway’s “Oilman of the Year” in 1997. He served on the Stavanger City Council from 1979 to 1991, and has served on a number of public bodies, including the original INTSOK committee.

Frode S. Berg (1963), Vice Chairman.

Mr. Berg is the Chief Executive Officer of Hitec Industries. Mr. Berg worked for five years for the Kverneland Group, the world’s leading producer of agricultural implements, with the last two years as the group’s CEO. Before that he spent 15 years in the oil industry, holding various management positions within business development, planning, finance management and taxation in the oil companies Phillips Petroleum Company Norway and Esso Norge. He subsequently served as CFO of the oil technology company, Roxar, as well as its predecessor, Multi-Fluid.

Henrik Hallin (1972), Executive Member.

Mr. Hallin has a corporate finance background and has held several positions as Finance Manager and CFO before joining the Stena Sphere in 2005. He is currently the Finance Manager of Stena Drilling.

Yuhong Jin Hermansen (1968), Executive Member.

Mrs. Hermansen has 13 years of work experience in international shipping. She studied her Masters in Shipping Management in Norway and bachelor of Mechanical Engineering in China. Mrs Hermansen has been the board director of the DSD group since 2005, a national and international shipping and transportation company based in Stavanger. She is now the sole shareholder and managing director of Herfo Finans AS. She is also the major shareholder of the DSD group.

Elisabeth Aarvaag (1956), Executive Member.

Mrs. Elisabeth Aarvaag is a manager of Total E&P Norge. She is currently responsible for field development in the pre-project phase for an old discovery in the North Sea. Her previous experience involves operational management of Frigg late life. Before joining TOTAL she worked for 19 years at Phillips Petroleum and has experience in onshore and offshore operational management, HES and reservoir.
